Light Scattering

The Draganova Lab is equipped to perform a variety of light scattering experiments using Wyatt Technology - use the icons below to get more information. We use an Agilent HPLC system (Infinity 1260) to operate the instrumentation.

*Note: The DLS is compatible with quartz and disposable cuvettes. A quartz cuvette is needed for molar mass measurements, whereas size measurements can be done in either quartz or disposable cuvettes. The sample is recoverable from all cuvette styles. We have a quartz cuvette available for use, but we ask users to provide their own disposable cuvettes. There are two options:

Wyatt Disposable Cuvette (10 uL sample)

Generic Disposable Cuvette (500 uL sample) VWR 97000-586

As we develop our light scattering technologies, we will continue to include relevant protocols:

Size-exclusion chromatography (SEC)-MALS Protocol

The Draganova Lab thanks Dr. Kelly Arnett and the Center for Macromolecular Interactions (CMI) Core at Harvard Medical School for modification of their current protocols.
