We are excited to launch the second iteration of the Herpesvirus Bootcamp! This is a virtual and trainee-focused summer lecture series held on Zoom, occurring on August 17-18th from 11 AM - 4 PM Central Time. Topics are geared towards novices in the field.

This initiative was originally driven primarily by Assistant Professors (shoutout to Dr. Jessica Tucker at Iowa!) and our biggest supporters to develop resources for those new to the world of herpesviruses. During this series, you will hear short lectures on different topics with broad application to all herpesvirus subfamilies. We imagine this series will continue to help us network, spread excitement about key areas in the field, and help our trainees get a crash course in the replication of these beautifully complicated viruses.
